Regularly, for the past 18 months, CyberTribes has been running three dynamic 3 hour. Social Media Workshops for local businesses and organisations. The feedback has been very positive and consistent regarding how practical and helpful they’ve been for business owners and staff. Attendees have also asked Melinda to develop day-long workshops. Most businesses are wanting help with Facebook, so the workshops cover general social media use, but also focus in on how to create successful engagement with your Facebook audience.
Virginia Wren, Business Coach for CyberTribes, and Business Development Manager at ITeC, works in partnership with us to promote and host these workshops. Participant enthusiasm and attendance strongly reflect the need for this kind of support for businesses.
CyberTribes has also partnered with Tara Skipp and her team from Nourish Creative in a collaborative project, creating a workshop that focuses in on the tips and tricks of Instagram.
"I first met Melinda as an Illawarra ITeC NEIS Graduate when she started her business CyberTribes back in 2015.
I have had the pleasure of working with Melinda as a business mentor, an active participant of the Illawarra small business community and as a vibrant and innovative Social Media business workshop presenter for Illawarra ITeC’s Business Advisory Services (BAS) program.
I love working with Melinda as she’s such a positive person and I know that the information that she presents to my small business clients is clear, concise, full of enthusiasm and quality.
The feedback that I receive from clients that attend her workshops is always very positive.
Melinda takes extra time researching client’s business before the workshop takes place so that she can deliver a quality product and impart the best solutions for clients needs.
I feel very lucky to have Melinda as part of the Illawarra ITeC BAS family."
